Researches in prehistoric Galilee, 1925-1926, by F. Turville-Petre, and a report on the Galilee skull by Sir Arthur Keith

This publication contains a detailed report on the School’s fieldwork conducted during the spring seasons of 1925 and 1926, a brief account of which was previously published in Bulletin No. 7. Taking advantage of the opportunity to examine caves, Miss Dorothea Bate of the British Museum visited the sites and examined all fossilized remains, including Stone Age tools, faunal material, and human remains. Sir Arthur Keith, Conservator at the Royal College of Surgeons, carried out an exhaustive comparative study of the fossilized human skull fragments and authored the detailed report presented in Section IX.
